How the ionSpa got started

About five years ago, our founder and president was suffering from a seemingly chronic discomfort. As his frustration with traditional avenues and professionals mounted, he was introduced to an ionic footbath. After purchasing and using the footbath for sessions, he found great relief from his condition, and not just a masking of symptoms, a deeper feeling of relief from the cause. But soon after, unfortunately, the unit broke down. Being a mechanically minded person, he took apart the unit and was amazed at how antiquated and unreliable the technology was. He also remembered how difficult it was to round up all the extra items and information necessary to actually do the first session (no tub, sea salt, or disinfectant was included and hard to understand instructions).

Our founder, being semi-retired with previous manufacturing experience realized he could build a superior, technologically advanced foot spa with everything you need to start sessions (without driving all over town to find items) right out of the box.

The ionSpa was born.

He developed, with the best engineers he could find, the first fully solid state, US made, "ready to use" ionic footbath kit! Not only this, he built and sold this for half the price and three times the warranty, of any FULL FUNCTION unit available.
