October 21, 2007- Relyon pricing reduced! Our supplier has offered us a significant price break on this product. So in the usual ionSpa way we are passing it on to you. The new price for a tube of 10 Relyon tablets will be $29.00. A 30% discount! As always this product is the only approved sanitizer to use on your ionSpa. It is a fully water soluble anti-bacterial, anti-virus, and anti-fungal product that will not affect the operation of your spa. October 5, 2007- Counterfeit ionSpas on the market. This is of course not new news, but we feel we should take a moment to address this issue that may effect customers. Sadly, there are auction websites that are selling conterfeit ionSpas. Unfortunately, for customers, this is in name only. Actually, some of these website auction resellers are totally unaware of the conterfeit nature of the units they sell. Many are purchasing the product from gray market suppliers, mostly from Asia, who advertise as authentic brands.The customer is the one who ends up suffering, attempting to get parts and warranty service only to find out there are none available from overseas and that they indeed do not possess a product from us. This is happening to all the major US manufacturers of these footbaths. So, if you see a "really great price" attached to a major brand, you may be not getting a functional ionic footbath. Customers may want to question the origin of the units and reconsider doing business with that website auction seller. September 26, 2007- Easier to use portable liners now available! We here at the ionSpa have always valued your feedback, and because of this we have updated our product. We now offer a new replacement portable liner for your ionSpa. We have increased the overall size and fit of the liner to make it easier than ever to use. This new liner is made of the same stable plastic compound as our previous liners. We have chosen to make this change without increasing the price to you. So give us a call and try 'em! September 14, 2007- Same day shipping cut off time Due to our increasing daily shipping demand for new spas and accessories, we are setting a cut off time for same day shipping. As you know, we are one of the only manufacturers that can ship/dropship the same day of order. We wish to continue this great customer experience, so we have to cut off same day shipping for our spas at 3:30pm Central time. This assures our employees time to process the orders in an accurate manner. Since we do not guarantee same day shipping, on our highest volume days we may not be able to meet this cut off time. August 28, 2007- ROHS compliance We waited to verify this before we posted on this topic. As with all the ionic baths on the market, we purchase our custom power supply from an outside source. Our supplier is one of the world's largest manufacturers of these devices used in thousands of applications. This assures a quality piece that is at the heart of the power management of your ionic spa. With all the issues with LEAD in the manufacture of products on the market, we needed a safe product if we were not going to control the exact manufacturing. The RoHS Directive stands for "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment." This directive is in place internationally and is coming to the U.S. One of the main components of this is the control of the use of LEAD in products sold. Our power supply has carried this "lead free" compliance since and before this posting date. As always, it also fully carries the following: FCC, CE, R33154, and is UL listed.
